This presentation unites rhythm and song. It creates an environment that nurtures, heals, renews, awakens, and inspires the body and soul. This presentation is for people who want to experience West African music and stories. 

The performance is based on rhythms heard across Ghana such as the Wale rhythm, Adzogbo, Agbekor, etc. We will present a story about our instruments and explain how they are made and why they sound so unique. During this time, the audience will have an opportunity to touch the instruments in order to get the full experience. 

There will be a session where the audience will be given an opportunity to ask questions about the group.  What to expect: Experience true Ghanaian folk music and stories  What to bring: A friend, partner, and/or family members. Children are welcome.  What to take home: inspiration and excitement.

African Cultural Arts International (ACAI) is an organization that sponsors, produces and promotes African individuals and cultural groups across the globe through the performing arts.
