What is Justice?

Les Misérables is a non-musical dramatic full-length Play, based upon Victor Hugo’s novel, adapted by Tim Kelly.  

The costumes and set will depict the time of this classic literature of 19th century France.  

Themes of Les Misérables: What is Justice? - What is a true hero and a false hero? Can one person make a difference?  

We are all Jean Valjean, each choice we make cultivates our character to grow healthy and strong or corrupt and weak. 

Les Misérables is set during the turbulent period following the French Revolution in 1789. The French Revolution was the first time in history a sitting king was deposed by a popular revolt.   

What followed was a period of tumult and instability.  This struggle culminated in the Uprising of 1832 where people took to the streets building barricades provoking a class war between those still hopeful for democracy and those sure it was the path to chaos.
